Hip hip! My best friend is getting married! We found the most beautiful venue in Graeagle, California yesterday. I'm in charge of the bachelorette party, naturally. This place is seriously magical.

Has anyone else seen the new TJ Maxx commercials? They go on and on about being a "Maxxinista." First of all, you're annoying. Second, half the time the darling clothes the models are wearing in the commercial aren't even available at TJ Maxx. I'm getting off track here. My mom and I were sprinting though said store last weekend and I pulled this spotted high-low blouse off the rack without thinking twice. Pretty great, eh? So does that make a Maxxinista?

Fair Weather Friend

Mom and I went on a mini road trip to Stockton, CA to adopt some handsome bunny brothers. We were so giddy the whole way. I don't think I can accurately express how much we love baby bunnies. The people we bought them from were not the best and the whole place seemed a little off. We had to get those babies out of there though. We had an excellent car ride home loving and snuggling our new friends. Our smallest bunny got sick suddenly. My mom and I raced to the animal emergency center but it was too late. Our handsome boy was too weak. We cried and cried. We still have brother bunny but are so deeply saddened over the loss of the baby brother. At least we gave him a really great last day. So here are some shots we took along the way. Our angel bunny is the spotted one and our alive and well bunny is the grey/brown fellow. We've officially named him ducky.

Of Mice And Men

Mom and I are on a mission to get a new pet bunny. We found a big ol' cage on Craigslist for practically nothing. Turns out the hardest part is finding a miniature lop breeder. On our hunt we found some darlin' fluffy friends. I feel like Lenny in Of Mice and Men when I handle tiny creatures like these. I'm so scared I'm going to love and squeeze them to death! Ah!

Today's post will offer you a look at the chaos that is my backyard. It was once a real nice place to be until our neighbor's pup broke the fence down and ruined everything. Beary Happy Birthday Palooza Pt.2

YES. It happened. My incredible, loving roommates finally broke down and bought me my very own life size teddy bear. I've named him Hugh Jackman for now. My week has been amazing. Several bouquets of flowers, a winning bowling match and twenty three years of life later, I'm all smiles. I really want to thank everyone who took the time to make my day extra special. I truly appreciate all of you. Even my lovely vintage drug dealer Steffy of Tea n Tulips wished me well!

I'm currently enjoying my last few hours of 22. Tomorrow marks my golden birthday. That's right, 23 on the 23rd. My dad kicked off the celebration of my birth with a BBQ this evening. My family and best friends were in attendance. More fun to come tomorrow!
