Today's post will offer you a look at the chaos that is my backyard. It was once a real nice place to be until our neighbor's pup broke the fence down and ruined everything. I had a real fun time with my friend Jena trying to take these photos. Please giggle along with us and note my bright red slurpee tongue.

Beary Happy Birthday Palooza Pt.2

YES. It happened. My incredible, loving roommates finally broke down and bought me my very own life size teddy bear. I've named him Hugh Jackman for now. My week has been amazing. Several bouquets of flowers, a winning bowling match and twenty three years of life later, I'm all smiles. I really want to thank everyone who took the time to make my day extra special. I truly appreciate all of you. Even my lovely vintage drug dealer Steffy of Tea n Tulips wished me well!

Birthday Palooza Pt.1

I'm currently enjoying my last few hours of 22. Tomorrow marks my golden birthday. That's right, 23 on the 23rd. My dad kicked off the celebration of my birth with a BBQ this evening. My family and best friends were in attendance. More fun to come tomorrow!

Heart On My Sleeve

It's all happening. Today I woke up and realized this is my life. It's incredible. I cannot believe what a blessed person I am and how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life. I'm absolutely, positively bursting with happiness!

I also had the pleasure of meeting a ton of stellar new pals at the Florence + The Machine show last night. I'll have a full post about my time with Flo tomorrow. Au revoir!

Sometimes it's difficult to document my daily outfit due to weather, location and flat out forgetfulness. These pictures are a result of all three. It was snowy, windy and rainy all of yesterday. I forgot about my photos until just before I was to go out for a birthday celebration for my roommate. We ran outside in the dark for less than a minute to snap these shots.

Things I love: chocolate, bunnies, pastels, eskimo kisses, being cute.

Things I dislike: Tuesday, Thursday, the history of women in the U.S. capstone & diversity credit. 

What do all my dislikes have in common? Well, you've probably figured out by now that my least favorite class is the above mentioned and falls on Tuesday and Thursday. We always have a lengthy reading followed by a well thought out journal entry that I procrastinate every single damn week. My late Monday nights make for grumpy, sleepy, bashful, confused Tuesdays. I feel like today's post is an accurate representation of my mood.

Summer today, winter tomorrow. At least I was able to wear my new hot pink crop pants today. This is my mom's tortoise, Sebastian, Seabass for short. He's such a little wiggle worm and hell raiser.

Put my new Black Milk leggings on as soon as they came in the mail today. Then proceeded to pump iron with my strong-man roommate while listening to dance music. Now that's an afternoon well spent.
